Who we are

The Friends of Holbrook-Palmer Park (FHPP) are a diverse group of talented vibrant individuals who bring our community together to sustain the park’s pastoral open space, importance and charm.

Established in 1968, under the former name of the Atherton Dames, the Friends of Holbrook-Palmer Park is the fundraising auxiliary to the Holbrook-Palmer Park Foundation (HPPF).

We sponsor fun events at the park to raise funds for much needed park capital improvements. Our events, which we run from September to June, are great for community building and include a wide variety of speakers, venues, tours and activities for our members – as well as three events for the general public at the park: the much-loved Holiday Tea, and our wildly popular Easter Egg Hunt. Our goals are simple but noble: to contribute to our community. We have fun and learn from each other along the way. Proceeds from all of our events directly benefit improvements for the park.
